From 2003 until 2006, I rented a large abandoned factory hall and built a wooden house with a large porch.  I constructed a series of temporary objects using all sorts of bits and pieces such as old shutters, foam from seats, shelves from cupboards, discarded doors, sink parts, and household appliances. I tried to transform these distinct and rigid materials into large maquettes, actual-sized decors, and one-time operating machines.

In the evening after a hard day's labor, I would often sit on the porch with a beer, looking at these objects.
